The St John Passion has been described as the more strikingly bold and powerfully expressive of the two extant oratorios Bach wrote on the Passion of Christ. Kent Nagano, the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and the OSM Choir will perform this masterpiece of sacred drama along with such acclaimed soloists as Sibylla Rubens, Christoph Genz and Markus Werba.
