At the tender age of 18 years, the deserving young cellist Stéphane Tétreault was the beneficiary of a gift any musician would die for: the loan by arts patron Jacqueline Desmarais of the Countess of Stanlein, ex Paganini Stradivarius cello of 1707. Since then the career of one of today’s finest young cellists has soared. Hear him with Mireille Lagacé, grande dame of the organ, as they share the podium in what promises to be a glorious partnership.
